These tiny hand-held cameras are commonly used by dentists to detect dental conditions and provide accurate representations of any irregularities in the mouth such as cracked teeth and tooth decay. The images and videos are then displayed on a computer monitor for both the patient and dentist to see clearly. Intra oral cameras were first introduced in the early 90’s and today, you can find them in most dental offices.
