I began my career in dentistry as a dental hygienist in 1981 when I graduated from Southern Illinois University with an A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. I worked in both general and periodontal practices for many years. I graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in May 2003 and was a resident for one year at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. I continue my education every year, beyond state requirements.
I worked as an associate dentist at a dental practice in Cobleskill, NY for five years and then at a practice in Naples, NY for one year.
I started Otego Family Dental P.C. in April 2010. I've been building the practice and my team ever since. I’m very happy to be living and practicing in Otego and I look forward to many years here. I enjoyed decorative painting for many years and plan to resume painting soon.
I am Dr. Knox’s husband. We met in high school in 1974 and were married in 1981. I graduated from RPI, in Troy, NY where I studied chemistry and materials engineering. I had my own business, before working at Otego Family Dental, providing information technology support to small businesses in the capital region.
We live in an apartment under the practice and we have two children, both grown, one married. I love working with my wife and her great team at Otego Family Dental.
I graduated from Oneonta High. I am a dental assistant and recently became certified. I joined Otego Family Dental in June 2011. I really enjoy coming to work every day.
I have two children and three grandchildren. I love spending time with my family and enjoy shopping, walking and time at the beach.
I graduated from Oneonta High School in 2007 and from there went to SUNY Herkimer College for three years where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Travel and Tourism (Hospitality and Management) as well as a Small Business Management Certificate.
I started my position at Otego Family Dental in August 2011. I work with a great team and a great group of patients. I love coming to work every day with a team and patients that make work fun and enjoyable. Having a job that I enjoy is very important to me.
I am lucky to work every day with my mother, Karen and my husband Matt. Outside of work I enjoy going to the movies, out with friends, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my husband.
I graduated from Oneonta High School in 2008 and then served 5 years in the US Marine Corps Infantry. I learned many valuable skills, traits, and lessons during my service as a Marine and they have translated well into my civilian career.
I started my employment at Otego Family Dental in late February 2014 and consider myself lucky to be part of such a close knit team. I look forward to contributing to a successful future here.
